WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LEAD FINANCE MANAGER – OPERATIONS NEW PRODUCT INITIATIVES (NPI)

FUNCTION: Finance

SUB-FUNCTION: Operations Finance

LOCATION: Winston-Salem, NC

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

We’re looking for a driven individual who is excited by leading change and challenging the status quo to join our Operations Finance team to support our business sustainability agenda through cost optimization, identifying opportunities through close busines partnering, and leveraging our global network to utilize best practices in driving New Product Initiatives (NPI) across our product portfolio We are seeking a leader that thrives at critical thinking, problem-solving, synthesizing ideas, written and verbal communication including executive presentation skills.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Partner with multiple stakeholders and provide strategic and financial guidance to cross functional business partners – internal and external

Provide stakeholders with meaningful analytics, as well as insights regarding spend, capital expenditures, forecasts, and potential risks/opportunities of financial performance for product launches

Develop and run adaptive financial analysis, modelling, and business cases for new product initiatives

Consistently work with business partners to identify cost reduction initiatives and clearly communicate changes to management

Maintain tight financial controls and SOX compliance

Partner with the Global Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure best delivery of NPI’s

Lead ad-hoc projects as required

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

Do you have recent experience leading a team through organizational change?

Do you have experience in a business partnering Finance role supporting operations or commercial functions?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required

Proven track record of developing and delivering on complex commercial and corporate finance strategies

Experience in working within dynamic cross functional teams

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to articulate financial strategy, results, and forecasts

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills – presentation to senior management team

Demonstrate strategic and innovative thinking with strong influencing and leadership skills

Ability to effectively work in a fast-pace and ambiguous environment

Strong business acumen.

Ability to tailor communication relative to the style and needs of others

Ability to work under minimal supervision; must be a self-starter

Must demonstrate financial responsibility and reliability

Ability to challenge the status quo as necessary

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area

3-5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Accounting, or relevant area

BENEFICIAL

Experience in FMCG with multiple categories

Supply Chain and Procurement knowledge

Project management experience

CPA, MBA, MAC or international equivalent
