Description
Position is open until filled.
This is a civilian position with the overall responsibility to provide for jurors.
This is an intermittent position that will be needed when there are Jury Trials.
Essential Duties
- Provide coordination between the clerk of court, district court judge and prospective jurors.
- Attend to appointed jurors as directed by the court.
- Maintain separation and security of jurors from others.
- Work with the courts on the logistics of meals, transportation, movement and boarding of jurors, if needed.
- Demonstrate neutrality.
- Assist bailiff when needed.
- Other duties and projects as may be assigned by the sheriff or chief deputy.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the criminal justice system preferred.
Must pass comprehensive background check.
