Position Summary:
Support the Operation with inventory control within the distribution center. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Essential Job Functions:
- Investigate items that are getting damaged and find ways to prevent the damage.
- Find and clear all pallets in LIMBO status.
- Check for scratches, operator adjustments & inventory on Distribution Gateway.
- Slot new items when necessary.
- Clean up lost pallets and misc. cases that accumulate throughout the warehouse.
- Check on all discontinued items and delete slots as necessary.
- Communicate with Recovery team on priority loads.
- IC & FC Counts
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Strong writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to collaborate and work with others
- Flexibility to work any shift/hours. Ability to work overnight, weekends and/or holidays is a must.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work and coordinate with other individuals and departments.
- Must be able to work in a cold temperature environment.
Desired Previous Job Experience
- Inventory Control experience preferred
