American Sentry Solar Looking for Electrical Helper at Baltimore County, MD

American Sentry Solar is looking for an experienced electrician helper/assistant to help install solar panels on residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have electrical and roofing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preliminary site visit for the evaluation and create a material list
• Process and secure all proper permitting and coordinate all necessary inspections
• Manage multiple, concurrent projects
• Become familiar with state, county, city, and utility codes, procedures, regulations, and interconnection requirements pertinent to projects
• Implementation of all OSHA safety procedures
• Training of clients on newly installed systems
• Installing and connecting wiring

Basic Requirements:

• Roofing experience and ability to climb ladders and work on roofs.
• Strong work ethic
• Customer-centered philosophy
• Applicable License(s)
• Familiar with NEC codes
• Understanding of residential construction
• Experience with reading blueprints and understanding of electrical schematics
• Ability to exercise discernment, patience, and resilience when answering customer questions and resolving concerns
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
