- As site Logistics Coordinator, you will be a direct line reporting structure within the Raleigh Plant through the Contracts group.
- Work closely with the PMs and SSRs to gather shipping and logistics information. This may also include contacting customers to obtain shipping information and reviewing contract documents for shipping terms.
- Assist with advanced coordination of high priority and urgent shipments. Organize and clearly communicate actions for priority and urgent shipments throughout the Raleigh Plant organization.
- Lead development of pre-shipment documentation such as Proforma Commercial Invoices.
- Coordinate shipment pickups directly with customer, and customer-contracted freight forwarders, and Flowserve -contracted Freight Forwarders.
- Relay ETA information and related shipping documentation (AWBs, BOLs, etc.) to relevant PM / SSR and Shipping team representative, as applicable.
- Apply a working knowledge of Incoterms 2020.
- Apply a working knowledge of the applicable national & international customs and export control regulations, where applicable.
- Support functional groups (Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, Engineering, IT, etc.) with issues or questions or estimates/budgets regarding logistics matters.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
