Yorozu Automotive is a Tier 1 Japanese automotive parts manufacturer in middle Tennessee. We are seeking a Manager for our Marketing & Sales Engineer department for our Tennessee location. The ideal candidate would be responsible for not only managing the department but also responsible for expanding sales with existing customers and developing business with new customers by matching Yorozu’s capability and products with the customer’s applications. Position requires experience of automotive sales, customer service, forecasting and monitoring account metrics, collaborating with other departments to meet customer requirements and create new business opportunities. Experience with working with Honda Automotive desired, but not required. Position requires a person who is sales driven and proactive.
Hours: 7:30-5:00 (Flex)

$85K and up – depending on experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage existing customer accounts and pursue new business opportunities in order to increase company’s overall sales
- Maintain close communication with customers’ purchasing and engineering contacts through frequent phone calls and / or visits (as needed.
- Ability to convey to the customer, the Yorozu’s product offerings and technical abilities.
- Effectively understand customer requirements from quoting on potential business to actively supplying products as well as negotiating cost related issues during production and service activities.
- Prepare and present general and technical presentations to customers
- Conduct commercial negotiations and contract review with customers’ purchasing staff
- Document, maintain communicate detailed customer program information to applicable departments.
- Maintain and communicate monthly sales projections for required customers.
- Understand market trends and help Yorozu react accordingly.
- Attend customers’ supplier conferences as needed or requested.
- Work closely with overseas corporate offices as needed on all sales related projects.
- Maintain an excellent customer relationship with all of our customers.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sales, quality, engineering and technical ability
- Experience of selling automotive parts to Tier 1 manufactures (Honda Experience preferred but not required)
- Excellent customer service skills – ability to convert customer needs into Yorozu solutions
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with both internal departments and with customers
- Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the advantage of Yorozu’s product and process to potential customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
