Position: Logistics Analyst
Report to: Director of Supply Chain
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid: split between warehouse office in Lincolnwood, IL and WFH)

Position Overview
Yishi is looking for a self-motivated problem solver to expand and manage our logistics network as our company enters a phase of rapid growth. This newly created role will report to the Director of Supply Chain and will have ownership of Yishi’s logistics/deployment operations, with the support of our team members, contract manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers.
Responsibilities
- Manage all logistics/deployment needs of the company, including both inbound and outbound shipments from/to material suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and 3PL partners
- Arrange for all transportation needs via broker portals, monitor for timely delivery, and lead resolution for damaged goods
- Fulfill our Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) orders processed through the Yishi Shopify platform
- Direct the process to select and monitor new 3PL DTC partners
- Manage our existing 3PL B2B partner relationships, including: inbound shipments from manufacturers, outbound shipments to B2B distributor network, finished good inventory accuracy and proper FIFO rotation adherence
- Lead the process to select new 3PL B2B partners as we grow
- Analyze our distribution network and lend assistance with design optimizations
- Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
- Check orders, BOLs, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
- Develop SOP’s and KPI’s for all accountabilities
- Drive supply chain cost improvement and performance of logistics through data analysis of relevant freight and vendor data
Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ experience of logistics support (non-manager), preferably in the CPG industry
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain or related field
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment
- Able to work with and interact effectively with all levels of management
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics
- EDI experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and navigate uncertain factors, take ownership of projects, and make timely and informed decisions.
- Enjoy working in a startup/fast-growing company.
- Must possess internal drive and fortitude, high energy, resourceful, responsible, flexible, and excellent organization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook) and ability to learn proprietary software applications.
- Valid driver’s license and willing to travel to manufacturing and warehouse sites. Mileage reimbursed or company car provided.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
