As a Business Partner Finance Analyst in our North America CRB Finance team, your primary responsibility will be to analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior management to help drive business decisions.

The Role

The Business Partner Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting annual planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics for Business Finance functions and supporting the business unit roll-up. This role will also support standard management reporting across Business functions.

This role will include responsibilities across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analyses in support of Business Units/Line of Business (LOB) departments.

The Business Partner Finance Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical standards for reporting and modeling KPIs.

As a key financial liaison, the Business Partner Finance Analyst will partner with the various departments across the business unit.

Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.

Developing financial models to support decision-making.

Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and consistent.

Evaluating the financial impact of business decisions and providing recommendations to senior management.

Conducting cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments.

Participating in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Monitoring industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
The Requirements

1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

Analytical skills: The ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights is essential. You should be able to use financial modeling and analysis tools to support decision-making.

Communication skills: You should have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, senior management, and other stakeholders. This includes written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.

Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. Experience with financial analysis and reporting tools is also beneficial.

Experience with PowerBI or Alteryx or similar tools beneficial.

Attention to detail: You should be detail-oriented and able to ensure that financial data is accurate and consistent.

Adaptability: You should be able to adapt to changing business conditions and priorities, and be willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

Understanding of insurance industry: A basic understanding of the insurance industry, its products and services, regulations, and market trends is a plus!

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is usually required.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).:
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $65,000 (USD) -$85,000 (USD). This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
