Develop cost estimates, status reports, and budget estimates. Collect data and provide budget and research analysis. Prepare responses to project and program data calls.
Track project activities, schedules, issues, deliverables, and deadlines. Assist in performing project and risk analysis and assessment and development of mitigation strategies. Maintain awareness of required project-related deliverables to ensure timely data input and submission.
Participate in meetings; records and disseminates project and/or customer meeting minutes. Draft and send project-related correspondence. Track project metrics and provide data and analysis to the Project Manager.
Train junior program analysts on project. Review work product of junior personnel. May provide project technical and management scheduling support.
Ensure project files and documents are maintained as required by WR’s Quality Management System (QMS). Support configuration management of project spreadsheets and other applicable files. May be responsible for evaluating performance of junior staff and/or subordinates.
May assist in the selection, training, and development of staff. May lead and direct limited tasks assigned to junior personnel. Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
Six (6) + years of experience in the analysis of funding, expenses, tracking labor hours and materials, or other direct costs, and preparation of status reports. Two (2) + years of Contract Management experience, to include:Development of Program Acquisition Documentation Data collection and analysis Development of cost estimates Development of program status reports Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting and business practices to effectively manage budgets.
Equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of degree depending on contractual requirements. Preferred: Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures. Knowledge of Deltek CostPoint.
