Duties & Accountabilities
· Owns the Shipping and Logistics for USAVinyl LLC .
· Lead, manage, retain, and hold shipping staff accountable
· Keep shipping operations within budget without compromising service, speed or efficiency
· Oversee and analyze outbound shipping lanes and burden
· Strategically combine orders and shipments to save money
· Document process and report to management as required
· Collaborate with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment
· Liaise with customer service, suppliers, and transportation resources
· Liaise with accounting for billing issues
· Ensure all shipping activities operate within US DOT regulations
· Monitor market pricing associated with logistics and product of all incoming channels
· Effectively utilize tools and systems to support incoming and outgoing shipments
· Reporting direct to the Plant Manager and VP of Operations
· Motivating direct reports such as Shipping Senior Leader and shipping team
· Be a positive and functional part of the Supervisor EOS Team
· All other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and VP of Operations.
Required
· 5+ years’ experience in Shipping/Logistics role
· Experience managing outside vendors, contract negotiations, etc.
· General Computer skills i.e., MS Office, ERP Systems, and Shipping software
· USDOT Regulations Competent
· High degree of accuracy, initiative, and adaptability
· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Excellent attendance required
Preferred
· 2+ years’ experience in Shipping and or Logistics Supervising
· 4-year degree in logistics, supply chain management

Netsuite experience
FINE PRINT:
- Full Time Position – On-site, not remote or telecommute
- Travel: Very Minimal, typically only for training purposes

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
