Wasatch Medical Clinic is seeking a Patient Relations Specialist. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and serve as point of contact to patients by phone via inbound and outbound calls
- Ability to build, foster, and maintain positive customer relationships
- Resolving patients needs and complaints
- Supporting patient’s financial services
Required qualifications for this position includes:
- 3-5 years of customer success and customer service type roles including inbound and outbound calls
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office Applications
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA Compliance
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A high comfort level with escalated customer interactions, including phone conversations
- An excellent problem solver and ability to think quickly
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
- One (1) year of medical office -OR- healthcare experience
- Exceptionally well-organized, attentive to details & skilled in multitasking
- Collections
- Billing and/or Health Care Billing
- Basic experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or computerized billing systems
- Medical terminology experience
- Flexibility – the ability to handle daily changes and adapt quickly to departmental and organizational changes
- Outgoing, positive, and customer-oriented attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Required)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
