Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate the routing of import and export bookings with freight forwarders
Obtain timely rates and quotes for customers
Audit invoices for accuracy and regulations
Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure timely movement of freight
Ensure timely flow of goods exported and imported and work to alleviate disruptions when they occur
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with freight forwarding providers
Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving any issues regarding billing or shipping discrepancies, communicate timely correspondence back to shipment requestor
Work with our customs broker to facilitate customs documents and send import alerts in a timely manner
Act as a liaison with Veritiv Global Trade Compliance for customs issues.
Knowledge of and adherence to company procedures and policies.

Required Skills :
Strong attention to detail with ability to effectively produce error free documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to follow work instructions, working both independently with minimal supervision and as an effective team member
Ability to take initiative to produce high quality work under pressure and in a timely fashion
Solid time management skills with follow up and sense of responsibility
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High energy and highly motivated individual with strong external and internal customer focus
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers
Required Experience/Education :
Minimum of a High School diploma required
Must have experience working in international shipping and/or receiving, and be familiar with INCO terms
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements :
Will work in an office environment
