The Adaptive Portal Configuration Analyst/Service Support is primarily responsible for configuration and setup of new and existing UMR customers based upon their benefit elections. The Adaptive Portal Configuration Analyst/Service Support must be able to complete basic and advanced activities to support the display of a customer’s benefits to a broad variety of constituents. These tasks include reading, interpreting, understanding and clarifying requirements set forth in installation documents, working with constituent experience teams to deliver a customized experience that meets UMR’s standards for implementation and apply critical thinking to solve for complicate display problems as posed by non – standard customer circumstances.
This position is full – time. Employees are required to work any shift between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (based on local time zone and can have flexibility).

Primary Responsibilities:
- Use the UMR standard implementation and change documents, supported by Internet Services policies and procedures to install and update the individual customer experience for a variety of constituents
- Work interdependently and autonomously to:
- Gather and document customer requirements
- Seek out clarification where necessary
- Test and develop any new coding or custom content through lower environments
- Engage all necessary business and technical teams to ensure a seamless configuration
- Perform check – out testing for all configuration implementations (new business and changes)
- Work closely with development teams for any new technical development required as part of a new customer implementation (including SSO or API integrations)
- Escalate any concerns or roadblocks that could put a seamless transition at risk for a customer
- Process review and improvement of the configuration and installation processes including
- Provide regular and consistent feedback to all project teams impacted by customer implementations and changes

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience with configuring web applications/portals
- 1+ years of experience with working on projects that span multiple functional areas
- Working knowledge of Third – Party Benefits administration including:
- Medical/Dental/Vision claim adjudication
- Medical/Dental/Vision plan benefit design
- Prescription claim adjudication and accumulator integration
- Provider network setup and directory
- Appeals and Grievances
- Medical Management
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (based on local time zone and can have flexibility)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of experience with configuring web applications/portals
- 4+ years of experience in project teams
- 2+ years of experience with direct work in HTML
- 2+ years of experience in Agile development environment
- Working knowledge of SAML
- Working knowledge of SOAP/REST APIs
- Working knowledge of SFTP transactions

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, or Rhode Island Residents Only: The salary range for California/Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada/New Jersey/New York/Washington/Rhode Island residents is $22.45 – $43.89.
