The Associate Dean and Director of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution serve as the primary conduct officer for the university and oversees the implementation and adjudication of the Code of Student Responsibility, and the Code of Academic Integrity and Alternative Resolution Processes. This position serves as a liaison for the conduct process with other campus partners who have a role in that process, including but not limited to such as Academic Affairs, Housing and Residence Life, Title IX, Police and Public Safety, and the Department of Wellness Promotions. This role also serves as a leader in major university-wide safety functions including the Pre-Admission Safety Review Committee, Bias Assessment Resource Team, Niner Care Team, Campus Behavioral Intervention Team, and Threat Assessment Team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master?s degree in Student Personnel, Counseling, Higher Education, or related areas.At least five years post-master’s work experience in higher education including direct knowledge of and progressive responsibility in the areas of individual and organizational student conduct and academic integrity processes.Demonstrated knowledge of federal regulations regarding FERPA, Title IX, Clery, and the Campus SaVE Act.Experience in student group advising, leadership training, and student development program delivery.Demonstrative supervisory experience with the professional-level staff.Exceptional organizational and communication skills.Experience managing budgets.Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to develop collaborative relationships.
