The Corporate Accounting team plays an integral part in this journey by providing financial reporting, which influences organizational and business decisions.
The Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk will apply their dedication for accuracy to post daily cash activity, review expense reports, and reconcile bank accounts for our corporate entities. This position will work closely with internal stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for posting daily cash activity in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review Expense Reports in Concur to ensure that they are within company policy and have the appropriate level of approval and submit to Finance leadership for final approval within appropriate deadlines.
- Ensure that all bank statements are reconciled on a timely basis and follow-up on old outstanding checks and reconciling items monthly. Reconcile ending cash balances monthly.
- Special projects and other functions as required by manager.

What We Require
- No degree required.
- 3 years bookkeeper experience required.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities.
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Approaches cross-departmental relationships with a customer service mentality and works well with associates of all levels.
- Experience in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Works well independently and as a member of various teams.
- Manages multiple priorities and meets goals and deadlines timely and consistently.
- Requires minimal guidance to accomplish general tasks.
- Versatile, flexible, and thrives in an environment where there are changing priorities.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Job location is based at Scion headquarters in Chicago, IL
- Working hours are general daytime business hours
