Come join our team at The Common Man in Claremont. We are an iconic chef driven restaurant that has a spectacular wedding venue and event space. Our event staff has the flexibility to work a creative schedule that can accommodate complicated needs. Experience is a plus, but we are truly seeking candidates with a passion for hospitality. We are gearing up for a very busy wedding season with ceremonies booked throughout the season.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a team to set up and break down events.
- Pass and Serve Appetizers
- Serve Dinner (which includes: buffet style, plated style, and station style dinners)
- Pass and Serve Desserts & Late Night Snacks
- Learn and know Barn Menu Options as they are ever changing for each event
- Learn and follow Standard American Service for table room set up and service.
- Work as a team to provide the best experience possible.
- Approximately 10 hour shifts.
Skills:
- Event serving experience encouraged but not required.
- Good Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Experience/willingness to learn tray carrying and handling
- Great Teamwork and Positive Attitude
- Responsible and Trustworthy
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $150.00 – $400.00 per day
