Duties and Responsibilities
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, or customer issues
- Maintain & item data in a computer system to facilitate automated shipping process
- Facilitate distribution of daily in-bound and outbound freight
- monitor in-bound and out-bound freight daily to ensure timely delivery
- File freight claims
- Communicate freight & product information to customers, vendors, as well as internal sales personnel
- Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
- Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped Review freight invoices and investigate discrepancies
- Review freight invoices and investigate discrepancies
- Assist in other areas as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) and 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with LTL shipping or small Parcel a plus
- Experience with computers essential.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
