What is this career opportunity?
We are looking for an individual to work in the General Services Division’s (GSD) main office in the hub of their operations. Do you thrive being at the center of a business’s activities in a fast paced, support oriented role? Are you able to be productive in a busy environment with regular interruptions? Do you go above and beyond to provide professional customer service? You would be the first point of contact for GSD customers and be responsible for answering the phone, assisting walk-in’s, dispatching for rapid response situations, the Work Order process/workflow, and Access Control/ State ID system administration. You would provide data entry, management of the databases, data quality control review, assist with technical work, write procedures, and provide user support of the systems. You would also provide general administrative support to the Capitol Facilities Management Bureau, as well as managing ancillary services such as the flag program.

What are we looking for?
Education and Experience:
- 2 years of secondary education in business, information technology or related field; AND
- 2 years’ experience in an office environment; OR
- Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
