What You’ll Do:
- Identify students’ skills gaps and create co-curricular opportunities and potential on-campus partnerships to address their needs through the Ole Career Launcher program.
- Collaborate with external and internal partners, such as St. Olaf alumni, parents, and community members, and develop relationships with skills certification vendors to pilot new skill building programs for students.
- Design, organize and host workshops, and guide students participating in the annual entrepreneurial pitch competition, connecting them to mentors, entrepreneurial experts, and resources.
- Coach students and provide career programming in arts-related careers.
Who You Are:
Qualified candidates will have…
Education: Bachelor’s degree; maintain a valid driver’s license and meet St. Olaf College driver authorization criteria with a satisfactory driving record
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in relationship building, project management and/or program development; possess experience that can be drawn upon in advising and mentoring students
It will be helpful if you also have…
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a liberal arts college; Master’s or Doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.B.A., M.A., M.Ed., other)
Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in relationship building, project management and/or program development; previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or collaborating in a higher education, development or organizational setting; experience in building innovative partnerships to advance an initiative
