Job Description
Provide direction and supervision to other health care professional and ancillary staff. Evaluate care for specific patient populations, using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assign nursing personnel and collaborates with health care professionals according to diagnosis and patient care needs. When acting as the charge nurse the responsibilities are to assure the smooth functioning of the Unit.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred
- Licensed RN or LPN – State of Michigan
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross
