We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in a very fast-paced environment. The duties of this position include providing support to our physicians, employees, and patients by assisting in daily office schedule needs and managing patient needs based on that day’s schedule. A few specific responsibilities include processing incoming paperwork, setting up patients’ accounts and guiding patients through the process of their visit and subsequent surgery. Communication is a major part of this position both in-person and via the telephone so the ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills. As this environment is very fast paced, organization and the ability to multi-task is a must. Presentation of a good attitude and the mindset that we are here to serve our patients is key. Ultimately, a successful Front Desk Assistant would ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Maintain contact lists
- Provide general support to visitors
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Skills
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
