Skunk Daddy Services Looking for Construction Worker at Crawford, TX

We are looking for a crew of efficient, safety-minded Laborers and Supervisors for weatherization work in residential homes. We have long-term work available for the right candidate with numerous growth opportunities in related industries. Applicants should have residential construction industry experience and access to reliable transportation. Some overnight traveling required. Valid drivers license is REQUIRED. Laborers with special skills, such as apprentice plumbing or electrical skills and carpentry are in especially high demand. We offer a consistent work schedule and competitive pay. The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight, but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
• Blowing insulation in attics, walls, and tight crawl spaces, window/door installation, caulking, screen making, venting, mastic, patching holes in walls/ceilings/floors, etc.
• Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew
• Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate residential construction job site terrain
• Must have experience with operating small powers tools such as table saws, reciprocating saws, drills, caulk gun, etc.

1+ years’ construction industry experience

• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Comfort working in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
• High school diploma/GED

Must be able to read, write, and speak basic English.

Bilingual is a plus.

MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL OUT OF TOWN. Additional per diem is added for out of town travel and hotel is provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 – $20.00 per hour
