REP-CUSTOMER CARE I (Seasonal)
REP-CUSTOMER CARE I position is part of the Customer Care group. The work is an integral part of data and database integrity, having a direct impact on School Specialty’s customer experience. Reporting to a Customer Care supervisor, work includes analyzing and updating key data elements within SalesForce.
This position is based out of your home office and will $15.00 per hour.
The main responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing an Excel spreadsheet to do determine best course of action to remove duplicate records.
- Fix formatting errors in SalesForce.
- Update data in SalesForce and on Excel spreadsheet.
Once trained, the Customer Care Specialist can work any hours, including days/nights/weekend; a minimum of 10 hours per week – up to 30 hours per week.

- Analyze data fields on a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet
- Access customer accounts in SalesForce
- Review data to determine next steps; validating and/or updating accounts
- Emphasis on consistently producing high quality results and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and follow processes
- Know when to ask for help if uncertainty arsis
Knowledge/Skills Required
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Data entry experience and ability to work with large sets of data
- Basic computer/laptop skills
- Problem solving skills and ability to strategically think through scenarios
- Detail oriented
- Comfortable with repetitive work
- Knowledge of SalesForce a plus
