Job Title – Quality Inspector
Location – Anoka, MN
Duration – Contract
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Interpret engineering drawings including GD&T.
2. Create control plans and other inspection documents
3. Development of inspection and work instructions
4. Part inspection, including in process, final, and receiving using all types of mechanical inspection
5. Use Solid works Inspection Software
6. Preparation of inspection reports
7. Create Bill of Materials (BOM), Bill of Operation (BOO) and process routings
8. Modify CAD drawings
9. Able to create/modify various spreadsheets
Desired Skillsets/Knowledge Areas
1. SolidWorks inspection software familiarity
2. Knowledge of measurement equipment / ability to select most appropriate equipment
3. Understand AQL sampling plans
4. General knowledge of manufacturing processes including forming (press brake), passivation, electropolish, tumbling, deburring, etc.
5. Knowledge of ERP systems
6. Knowledge of ProfitKey (specific ERP)
7. Attention to detail
8. Ability to operate in fast-paced environment
9. Familiarity with ASTM specs
10. SolidWorks CAD drafting knowledge
- Review current manufacturing prints and quality documentation
- Create new or modify existing Control Plans per latest manufacturing processes and latest templates
- Decide the quality inspection techniques and guide the quality inspectors for the same
- Experience of end-to-end Quality Inspection from raw material, in-process through final product inspection.
- Support in creation of manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD/Solidworks
- Understanding of ASTM standards would be preferable
- Understanding of manufacturing documents such as Process flow diagrams, route sheets, control plan, pFMEA is highly desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Quality Control Inspectors: 1 year (Preferred)
