To safely, efficiently, and consistently produce silicone batches to meet foamline demand. Understand and practice superior attention to details in order to ensure 100% quality batch.
Capable of performing in a stressful environment handling high monetary value ingredients.
Essential Functions:
- Weigh and blend silicone batches safely and efficiently with meticulous consistently to meet foamline demand 50 %
- Confer with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or product quality 20 %
- Capable of demonstrating a high level of trust in workmanship, accuracy, and dependability 15%
- Adaptable to stressful and unpredictable plant situations while maintaining the ability to function competently and communicate efficiently with other plant and technical personnel 10 %
- Responsible for housekeeping in and around the mix room and storage areas and must sustain 6S 5 %
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - High school diploma or GED equivalency as well as 1-3 years’ experience in a bath mixing manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency plus 5 years working in a team environment within a manufacturing related process.
- Competency in inventory tracking, vigilant with the workings in the area and capable of reporting out discrepancies
- Understands how to interpret chemical hazards has handled raw materials and understanding safety procedures associated with handling raw materials
- Highly detailed orientated, meticulous approach to quality of work.
- Excellent math skills and an ability to think analytically.
