PURPOSE STATEMENT
We are looking for warehouse packaging associates to assist with fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. This is an entry level position.
***Position is scheduled Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
OR Wednesday-Saturday, 7:30am-4pm.***
Pay starts at $14/hr.
Immediate openings available. No resume or previous work experience required. All training will be provided on the job.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
- Observes all safety rules and regulations including use of personal protective equipment and material handling. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we require temperature screenings, face masks and social distancing in addition to other requirements.
- Follows all established Good Manufacturing Practices, including maintaining an orderly and clean work area.
- Verify all deliveries/discrepancies by inspecting materials through physically counting and comparing the amount printed on the delivery receipt.
- Organize/rotate old materials with new.
- Housekeeping: daily remove/fix any dirty, torn, hanging, broken wood, packaging, ingredients etc.
- Assist management with inventory balances through physical cycle counts.
- Label any open/partial ingredient and packaging.
- Check production schedules daily to stage packaging and ingredients if needed.
- Performs all other warehouse and freezer duties.
- Works in an extremely cold environment (40 degrees F year-round).
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Responsible and reliable.
- Must possess basic math and computer skills.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Be able to regularly stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Hearing ability to meet manufacturing facility safety requirements.
- Must be able to work in an extremely cold environment (40 degrees F year-round).
- Able to work shift times Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm OR Wednesday-Saturday, 7:30am-4pm.
