Position Summary:

The DVP of Sales is a leadership position within the Commercial Strategy

Team. The DVP of Sales collaborates with all Commercial Strategy leaders to drive revenues and market share across all hotels while individually responsible for a portfolio of hotels with emphasis on the Group, Business Travel, Contract and Catering Segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Commercial Strategy team, DVP of Operations and SVP of Sales to establish and exceed budgeted revenue and market share goals for all hotels in the assigned portfolio.
  • The DVP of Sales will provide close support to the property Sales Teams and General Manager in all areas of revenue development and optimization including implementation, execution and measuring results of Remington Best Practices, Tools & Resources and Brand Programs.
  • Work closely with the sales teams on client engagement and lead development through all phases of the sales funnel
  • Recruit, hire, train and retain top talent in the marketplace
  • Be knowledgeable of all brands within assigned portfolio and work with brand partners for greater visibility and benefits to property success
  • Hold team accountable for results within a motivating and nurturing environment that focuses on learning and growth opportunities for top performers
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and enhancement of Remington’s Commercial Strategy with leadership and participation in new initiatives and programs

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in related field, preferred
  • Multi-unit sales and marketing experience in a third party management company.
  • Strong record of accomplishment in driving sales initiatives and leading hotel sales teams.
  • Proven track record of sales performance
  • Minimum of 3 years multi-unit Sales experience
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills
  • Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills
