The Support Engineer-Senior is responsible for providing technical support, design, development, and expertise in the resolution of production incidents affecting integration applications and interfaces. The Support Engineer-Senior will use project management methodologies and System Life Cycle disciplines to ensure successful implementation of these resolutions in support of corporate requirements and initiatives. They will participate in development efforts by performing detailed incident analysis, developing detailed designs/resolutions with Support Engineer-Lead and Integration Architect input, implement code changes, and test scenarios to meet business requirements. The Support Engineer-Senior mentors Support Engineers to ensure their support and development responsibilities align to standards. Understanding of log files, Java exceptions, system & application errors, etc. to determine root cause in a timely fashion will be critical. In addition, they will understand critical business processes and prioritize incidents accordingly. The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior business and technical management, and strategic partners is essential.
