DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Repetitively unload trucks in accordance with established company standards
  • Operate fork truck in accordance with standards and expectation presented in training.
  • Enter all bale movements in current computer/trucking system. Publish inventory numbers.
  • Inspect all bales that are unloaded off the trailers and when loading the conveyor. Use good mix of bales when loading conveyor.
  • Help meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals.
  • Cut beater stock with roll splitter or saw.
  • Clean and maintain loading area, keep work area clean throughout the shift.
  • Conduct a maintenance and safety check for fork truck at beginning and end of each assigned shift.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPPA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Computer literacy
  • Ability to track inventory using a computer/tablet
  • Problem solving skills
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division)
  • At least 1-year manufacturing experience preferred
  • Able to communicate with all team members and adhere to safety and adhere to safety regulations
  • Must be team player, organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi task in an environment with frequent changing priorities
  • Ability to operate a fork truck, clamp truck and/or bobcat
  • Able to meet company quality and performance standards for job as specified.
  • Able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, stooping
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness and ability to work in confined spaces and with heights

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Able to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment.
  • Willingness and ability to wear safety glasses, earplugs, hard hat, steel toed boots and any other required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.65 per hour
