The Senior Manager, Accounting is a key member of the Finance management team. The Senior Manager, Accounting will be directly responsible for all general accounting activities in assigned areas and act as the expert in ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Will be responsible for building out the accounting systems and processes while performing and managing accounting tasks for this growing company. This includes working with international locations to help assure consistency and accuracy in assigned areas.
The position will be responsible for, but not limited to, assisting with the accounting month-end close process, annual budgeting, and annual audit. Areas of focus include general accounting, revenue, and financial reporting. Help implement new software such as subscription invoicing platform or Business Intelligence tool. Additionally, review financial results and work with responsible parties to improve results for QSC. Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate an ability to identify areas of improvement within the accounting function and to be a change agent to help address opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies. Draft whitepapers and policy & procedures on a variety of accounting issues.

Bachelor’s Degree in finance-related discipline (accounting, finance, business administration, economics)

CPA is preferred

7+ years of Accounting progressively challenging experience within mid-size to large companies with high growth

Experience in using Oracle E-Business Suite R12 or similar ERP system. Additionally, Business Intelligence tools such as Oracle EPM.

This position has a high level of independence. It is expected that this role will help to improve QSC Accounting policies within the assigned area.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting.

Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization and influence processes across multiple functions and stakeholders

Proven ability to work closely with internal IT personnel. This role will work closely with the QSC IT team to implement finance business requirements into our Oracle ERP and reporting systems
