Description
The Nurse Navigator, for Oncology is responsible for the individual patient/family assessment, referral to service and follow-up. This position is the hub of multiple lines of communication between the patient, referring physician, specialists (radiologists, surgeons, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists), staff and other support service providers. The position encompasses the roles of coordinator liaison, communicator, educator and supporter. In addition, this position contributes to the productive and efficient operations of RRMG.

Required qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- Experience in the coordination of patient’s care and needs.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- OCN upon hire.
- 3 years recent oncology nursing experience.
- Program development experience.
- EME or IDX experience.

About the Team
Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care.
