FULL TIME/7A – 7:30P/72 HOURS PER PAY
Practices professional nursing care in an autonomous manner supported by evidenced-based practice, professional standards of care, and code of ethics. Provides care for patients across the life span in a manner sensitive to social and cultural diversity. The Registered Nurse manages the nursing care in an interdisciplinary manner, in collaboration with the healthcare team, family, and significant other. Integrates the Collaborative Model of Care with a strong focus on patient-centered care into daily practice.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN required or must complete within 3 years of hire. Proof of enrollment required within 6 months.
Licensure: Current Ohio State license as a Registered Nurse.
Certification: Professional level CPR required.
Experience: Min. 1 year of RN experience is required. If a new grad RN (within the last months) is selected, completion of the Versant RN Residency Program is required unless the candidate has 6 months experience working/practicing as an RN in a like setting. This program does not apply to anyone who graduated more than 12 months ago. A 3 year post-residency work commitment to Premier Health is required. Skills/Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English with strong interpersonal skills. Requires critical thinking and prioritization skills.
