Customer Service Portal Specialist

Full-time position M-F starting at $18/hour.

Ten days paid vacation a year to start! + paid sick leave.

Job Summary:

Provides excellent customer service and support – via phone, electronically and in-person. Acts as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and service providers. Answers phones, directs calls, takes customer orders, and answers customer questions. Acts as technical support for our online portals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directing calls and electronic correspondence to appropriate parties.
  • Answering customer inquiries.
  • Advocating for customer experience with eCommerce development team.
  • Drive overall customer satisfaction by quickly and completely resolving service issues.
  • Provide feedback on potential process improvements.
  • Create sales orders, invoices, shipping labels, and schedule freight.
  • Process online orders from various eCommerce platforms.
  • Perform all other related duties, additional projects and responsibilities as determine by the Customer Service Manager.

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Comfortable with modern eCommerce platforms, technology, and office software systems.
  • Reliable.
  • Team Player.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Demonstrates sound judgement.
  • Organized.
  • Good attention to detail and follow up.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.

Work Environment:

Work will take place in our (Portland) office setting
