Piper Enterprise Solutions is searching for a Manager, IT Service Desk for an education organization in Norristown, PA.
Responsibilities for Manager, IT Service Desk:
- Manage the support of all technology issues and initiatives, overseeing a high volume of customers
- Oversee multiple, concurrent projects and functions as the escalation point, implementation of new network connectivity, and deployment of new devices
Qualifications for Manager, IT Service Desk:
- 5+ years of progressive experience within a helpdesk, support, or information services environment
- 3+ years in a supervisory role, ideally managing a 24/7 support team, and establishing key performance metrics
- Experience supporting most, if not all, of the following: desktop applications, equipment deployment and procurement, change management, vendor/contract management
- Strong technical documentation and presentation skills
- Previous experience establishing, and proficiency with, ITIL standards (ITIL certification is a bonus)
- Hands-on experience with Solar Winds, JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar
- Exceptional “people-first” attitude, and desire to build a rapidly-growing, service desk team
Compensation/Benefits for Manager, IT Service Desk:
- Primarily onsite, some flex with manager discretion
- $80,000 – $105,000 (depending on experience) + additional
