The main objective, purpose, and scope of the role:
The role of the Logistics Analyst is to coordinate and execute E2E activities associated the processing of orders for customers located in international countries, as per the assigned market(s), from order reception to customer receipt, or per incoterm definition.
Geographical Scope: 50 countries; Asia, Europe, Middle East, South America, Mexico, Central America, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean.
Key Countries: Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Israel, United Kingdom, India, China, Hong Kong, Guam, America Samoa, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, New Caledonia, Malaysia, Saipan, Mongolia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, El Salvador, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Curacao, Guyana, Haiti, Bermuda, St. Marteen, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, US Hispanics, Suriname, St. Vincent, Grand Cayman, Belize, Trinidad, Tobago, Barbados, Tortola, Aruba, and the Bahamas, etc.
Accountabilities:
Receive, acknowledge and process customer orders as per the order process flow.
- Plan, coordinate, and direct the transportation of orders aligned to the customer’s requirements
- Validate container utilization, address opportunities proactively with the customer
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Proactively follow up and address potential issues, avoiding impact to order process and delivery.
- Maintain customer informed of any concern related to their order(s)
- Work with DC to ensure orders are managed accordingly, as per special requirements, if applicable
- Work with carriers and forwarders related to scheduling of shipments
- Owns logistics OTS and OTV customer service Key Performance Indicators
- Process all invoices for services or products contracted/purchased
- Sugar Rebate –submits documents required for the processing of sugar rebates
- Supports Global Freight Bid by providing the required information on time. Ensure contract continuity by requesting contract extensions if needed
- Provide all required documents (BOL, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, COA, Sugar Re-export, USMCA, Organic Certificate, etc.,) for export in an accurate and timely manner
- Lead the logistics system set up or update for all new customers or products (NA SAP, LAR SAP-GTM)
- Acknowledge, review and process customer claims as per Claim SOP
- Training, assist with training of new logistics team members
- Back up to desk-counterpart during vacation or absences
- Support Organizational and team initiatives as applicable to the function or role

The salary range for this position goes from 55,000- 68,000.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bilingual, English/Spanish required.
- 2+ years of logistics-customer service experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the logistics-related discipline.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong communication, written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and influence skills.
- Problem-solving skills – – must be able to evaluate and analyze situations and either resolve and/or escalate issues to expedite resolution.
- Time/priority management – consistently meets timelines in dealing directly with markets, warehouses, and freight forwarders, and who must respond promptly to inquiries to proactively prevent delays.
- Continuous improvement orientation and/or strongly analytical and collaborative skill
- Team player positively engages in team initiatives and supports team members.
- SAP knowledge
- MS Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
