Nile Transportation and Logistics Inc, a FedEx Ground contractor, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Full Time and Part Time Delivery Drivers. Drivers will be operating out of the Bessemer terminal located at 3200 Rodeo Court, Bessemer, AL 35022 and will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses in Birmingham, AL. Our drivers will be operating sprinter and step vans provided by the employer.
Pay: Based on performance and experience
CDL License is NOT required!!! Kick off your new logistics career with a great team!
Work Hours: 6:30AM – 3:30PM, Monday-Saturday, Tuesday-Sunday, 1 day off a week

DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 3 years OR 5 years of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 5 years. (DOOR DASH, UBER, LANDSCAPING, CONSTRUCTION, MILITARY DRIVER, MEDICAL TRANSPORT, ETC ALL COUNT AS EXPERIENCE)
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by FedEx!)
- Must submit to a background check
- Physically able to handle packages up to 50 lbs and get in and out of the truck repeatedly
DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain 100% service performance – Deliver all the packages every day in a timely manner.
- The ability to locate suburban addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must
- Complete pre and post trip vehicle inspections
- Follow FedEx Ground procedures for scanning and handling packages
- Ensure truck and packages are secure at all times.
- Wear proper uniform while at work at all times
- Ensure all Safety Incidents are properly reported to the Business Contacts
