Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Open Roles:
- Assembly
- Soldering (knowledge of IPC Standards is a plus!)
- Kitting/inventory sorter specialists
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings, procedures, assembly instructions and/or bill of materials in order to determine material and assembly requirements.
- Visual inspection of parts, raw or sub-assemblies, for the assembly process.
- Build sub-assemblies to written specifications and/or drawings.
- Assemble, service and test electrical or electronic systems and support structures to current instructions/procedures; and install components, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings, using screws, nuts, and torque equipment.
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Review and record test results on the device history record.
- Verify calibration, use, and maintain product station equipment and tools on a daily basis.
- Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Position, align, and adjust work-pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
- Pack finished assemblies for shipment and transport to storage areas.
- Confer with supervisors to plan and review work activities, to resolve production problems and to discuss any product or product concerns.
- Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Support engineering in the execution of prototype assembly and testing for design changes or new product introduction.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Other Duties:
- Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers as a part of on-going training.
- Assist co-workers and other departments, when needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required (unless otherwise noted):
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years work experience with one year in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow assembly instructions, drawings and work documents.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of work, rapidly adapt to a changing environment and possess strong work ethics.
- Good organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and flexibility with work assignments.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Ability to solder cables and boards, preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization and with customers..
- Demonstrated ability to communicate information efficiently and succinctly.
- Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility for assigned tasks and complete them on schedule.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.

- Working conditions are normal for a fast-paced production environment.
- Requires repetitive motion of hands, arms and shoulders for reaching, handling, fingering and feeling for assembly of product. (frequently)
- May require occasional weekend and/or extended work hours.
- Mid-level stress.
- Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed.
- Requires walking primarily on a level surface for occasional periods throughout the day.
- May include lifting up to 50 pounds for product on a regular basis. Proper lifting techniques required.
Material and Equipment Directly Used:
- Assembly tools and measuring devices—soldering irons, torque drivers, digital test equipment, volt/current meter, etc..
- Pressure indicators—pressure gauges, pressure sensors.
- Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and ESD wrist strap.
- Copy/Printer/Scanning machine.
