Job Description: Motorized Precision’s Sales and Marketing Associate is responsible for answering all sales phone calls, emails, and social media requests. As the Sales and Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of knowledge and information pertaining to our products and services. Our leads care how quickly someone responds to their questions and concerns. As the Sales and Marketing Associate, information must be provided on the spot instead of waiting to hear back from someone else in the company. Being self-motivated and quick to learn information is important for this role. You will receive extensive sales and product training. Reporting to Sean Brown, the President, and CEO of Motorized Precision.
Sales and Marketing Associate will also be responsible for the marketing of the systems to aid in sales efforts including write-ups, demo videos, in-person demos of our products, and marketing materials such as write-ups for social media and informational graphics. Undertaking key or recurring questions potential clients may have and relaying that to our team.
The Motorized Precision staff will work collaboratively on the creation of any informational videos, content, and documents. The ideal candidate for this job is someone who has years of experience in technology sales and is familiar with the film and television markets. This role also has room for advancement. Key Responsibilities: Sales of the Mia, Kira, Colossus, and Vigo lines of robots and accessories Know the ins and outs of every product we offer Working knowledge of MP Studio Control software and able to demonstrate its functionality Knowledge of marketing strategies for cinema and television markets for motion control devices Basic knowledge of computers and cameras Able to create a demonstration video of how a software function can work with tiles and narration as a sales tool. Ability to manage a schedule for meetings and demos and calls. Detail/Goal Oriented – Customer Focused Overcome objections and thrive within sales situations Follow up with customers and potential candidates Determine each customer’s needs by asking questions and listening Must be a people-person. Gather client information and pass it on to the CEO for the Final close of sales and billing. Team player, willingness to work when needed on specific deadlines Ability to take initiative and be self-sufficient Must be willing to travel if needed Must be able to function in a safe manner; observe safety practices at all times Other activities as directed by the President & CEO Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) recommended but not required Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly Prior cinema or robotic experience is preferred. Experience or interest in computer programming is a plus Understand safety requirements Perform all work in a safe manner Drive a car with a valid driver’s license. Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
