Clinical Operations Manager
Mendota Health believes that everyone deserves access to the highest quality of health care. We are a team of Nurse Practitioners who bring advanced wound treatment to our patients in their home setting. We are a mobile wound care service. Our goal is to improve and save lives while becoming the largest and most accessible wound care clinic in the U.S.
We are looking for an individual to lead and grow our team of clinical operations specialists. In this role, you will manage all aspects of this critical department. Key areas of focus are customer service, care coordination, scheduling, insurance verification, referral partner collaboration and collaboration with our clinical and sales teams. Enthusiasm, organization, and commitment to teamwork are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Do good things for other people
- Help develop staffing models and growth projections for the team
- Establish and monitor standardized metrics and KPIs
- Lead ongoing education and training
- Conduct regular check ins and performance evaluations for the team
- Partner with Clinical, Community Engagement and Operations leaders to establish operational goals and priorities
- Identify and implement optimization projects
- Create scripting and written templates to promote standardization and quality
- Document operational workflows and processes
- Partner with cross functional teams to implement and train on new technology and processes
- Establish processes for responding to patient and clinical partner escalations
- Create job aids, policies, and protocols
- Create a culture of respect, quality, and collaboration
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of healthcare operations management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or equivalent preferred
- Experience leading a customer service team
- Familiar with care coordination functions
- Experience using and optimizing healthcare technology platforms
- Clinical experience with wound care knowledge preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated critical thinker and problem solver
- Team player
- Ability to independently lead large teams and effectively prioritize the work
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
