Clayborn Lab, a division of Perma Pure Group, located in West Valley City, UT is searching for a capable, forward-thinking Manufacturing Manager to join our expanding team.
Clayborn is a manufacturing company that serves a wide range of customers and industries with our heater tape-based products. We provide high quality solutions and world class customer service to the aerospace industry, environmental applications, fuel cell companies and the automotive industry; to name a few. We pride ourselves with having high profile customers, including Lockheed Martin, 3M, SC Johnson, Thermofisher and Plug Power.
Qualified candidates should be proficient in the following:
· Manage a team of 5 currently (expanding as we aggressively grow)
· Manage daily, weekly and monthly scheduling goals
· Lead continuous improvement efforts
· Understand customer expectations & relay appropriately
· Motivate a technically proficient team to perform to their maximum efficiency
· Understand safety requirements and regulatory standards of manufacturing facilities
· Strong communication skills & a positive attitude
Experience and Education requirements:
· Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering or similar discipline
· Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing environment
· Minimum of 2 years leading a production team
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and associate to raw materials and finished goods
· Understanding of planning, shipping and inventory management
· Computer skills: web-based database, MS Excel & MS Outlook
· Solid mathematical fundamentals; including fractional measurements, decimal measurements and tolerance values
· Training in Toyota production system (or similar) a plus, but not required
· Understanding and experience with the value of KPIs
· Familiarity with Ohms law a plus, but not required

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
