LA Valley College has trained individuals for the role of a Biomanufacturing Technician who works in a cleanroom environment at Biotech companies.
Our graduates work at such companies as Grifols Biologicals, Thermo Fisher, Kite Pharma, Amgen, and Takeda to name a few.
Biotech Bridge Training Academy Summary:
We are a short-term six-week training program. We train you in the technical skills you need to be a Biomanufacturing Technician Level I. Train you in current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and basic math calculations which we introduce to you in the Academy. In addition to technical skills, we introduce you to work-readiness skills such as writing resumes and cover letters, communication in the workplace, and teamwork.
Initial Eligibility Requirements for the Biotech Bridge Training Academy: Please be aware there is an application process.
· Be at least 18 years old
· Eligible to work in the U.S.
· High school diploma, GED, or HiSET or higher required.
· Ability to speak, read, and write English
· Have an interest in life sciences
· Possess a willingness to learn
· Commitment to the program’s goals
