Applications of LumaCyte’s label-free platform technology include viral infectivity for vaccine development and manufacturing, cell and gene therapy development and production monitoring, cancer biology R&D, CAR T-cell immunotherapy, adventitious agent testing (AAT), iPSCs, infectious disease, and pre-clinical drug discovery, in addition to multiple applications across the biomanufacturing sector for quality control and process optimization.

LumaCyte is seeking an experienced inside sales and marketing specialist to support its growing demand. This role will be a key contributor to LumaCyte’s team-based approach of delivering top tier customer service to all customers, both new and existing. We are looking for someone with a strong collaborative spirit who enjoys customer service activities and is very organized in their process and has a thoughtful and thorough approach to their communication and work style. This role will help drive and support the rapid adoption of LumaCyte’s label-free single cell analysis technology and instrumentation across the biopharma and bioproduction industry through timely sales and marketing follow up activities. She/he will build a strong understanding of LumaCyte’s transformative technology, Laser Force Cytology (LFC) and product offering through a robust training and mentoring program from both scientific and business development team members, ensuring successful transition into this important role. Core responsibilities include:

  • Managing inbound customer lead communications and follow ups
  • Follow up, tracking and logistics support across all customer needs as they relate to annual performance maintenance visits, consumables ordering and sales/service activities
  • Prospecting opportunities for upcoming conferences
  • Managing conference and webinar lead generation and follow up activities and tracking these in SFDC
  • Maintaining analytics across sales and service operations
  • Support leadership with key marketing & advertising campaigns

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate works independently to generate and follow up on new sales lead opportunities and contributing to market analysis and advertising needs. She/he has an outgoing personality and enjoys working closely with people (customers and team members). The ideal candidate is also a self-starter that is very motivated to manage customer interactions and sales efforts throughout the evaluation and buying cycle.

Skills & Requirements

Required

  • B.S. in Business, Marketing or Corporate Communications, Biological Sciences (MS/PhD a plus)
  • Demonstrated inside sales performance in an instrumentation or life sciences related role
  • Comfortable communicating scientific material. (Experience in scientific writing such as tech notes a plus)
  • Willingness to learn with a strong commitment to excellence
  • Analytical and strategic mindset

Desired

  • Experience with Salesforce.com application and familiarity with running reports
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, and Office workflows
  • Diverse communication skills including the ability to interface with a wide variety of customers and application spaces within the biotechnology and biomedical industry
  • Proven self-starter, good interpersonal and time management skills, and enjoys working in a fast paced, team focused environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
