Job Summary

As an IT specialist at L&S, you will collaborate with the IT team in resolving software and hardware issues for all employees across all regions. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of our help desk procedures and assist the IT manager in the development of new procedures for evaluation of employee satisfaction of IT services.

General Responsibilities

  • Provide all levels of hardware support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, iPads and other devices.
  • Provide all levels of software support for Windows 10, Microsoft 365, AutoCAD, Wrightsoft, Adobe, Great Plains and others.
  • Support the office technology platforms, including wireless and wired networks, conference room technology (Zoom and Microsoft Teams), automation systems, AV streaming technology.
  • Monitor and respond to support tickets through our Help Desk system.
  • Acts as a quality assurance by identifying, researching, resolving and responding to technical and non-technical issues or questions from employees.
  • Assist IT manager in creating and implementing evaluation tools for customer service satisfaction and company IT needs.
  • Be current with the latest software (predominantly the entire Microsoft M365 suite and Windows 10) and other typical enterprise apps.
  • Monitor workloads and status; supports colleagues by providing advice on handling complex issues.
  • Communicate high visibility issues to immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain good client relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming.
  • Working knowledge of MDT
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization.
  • Efficient troubleshooting abilities.
  • Preferred experience with Cisco networking and VOIP, 3CX system
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening.
  • Customer service oriented.
