Labcorp, a leading global life sciences company, is seeking a highly experienced Financial Analyst . Labcorp specializes in diagnostics, drug development, and technology-enabled solutions to improve health and improve lives.

The analyst will assist in supporting financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and revenue/cost analytics. The Analyst will participate in monthly financial planning & reporting processes including volume, revenue, margin and operating expenses and will assist with the monthly close process.

Responsibilities also include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in developing the annual budget, monthly financial forecasts and monthly P&L estimates for the Division and Regions.

  • Complete monthly accruals.

  • Complete variance analysis of business performance and comparative monthly, quarterly and year to date results.

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, margin, expenses and capital expenditures.

  • Maintain & enhance accurate financial reporting for the Division and Regions.

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly business review and forecast packages and ad-hoc analysis.

  • Ensure financial close deliverables are completed timely and accurately.

  • Prepare financial statements for various business arrangements, alliances and joint ventures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor”s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

  • Prior work experience in financial planning, analysis and accounting preferred.

  • Must possess an understanding of Accounting Statements such as a Profit and Loss Statement.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets.

  • Must possess strong communication and organizational skills with a focus on analysis and process improvement.

  • Highly responsive with sense of urgency to provide accurate deliverables under tight time pressure.

  • Flexibility to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.

  • Proficient in Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Tableau and ERP systems.

  • Advance experience in Excel is essential.
