About the Role

We are looking for a sharp mind that thrives in a multi-project, fast paced and fun environment. You should be a talented and experienced systems analyst with a background in implementing and maintaining leading SaaS applications. To be successful here, you should be eager to learn our cutting edge technology stack.

Hours are MST. Remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the administration, maintenance, configuration, and setup of computer systems, programs, and platforms
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, and integrate automation processes where applicable
  • Work with the IAM team to manage Single Sign On (SSO) for systems and applications
  • Coordinate with Security Operations, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure the platforms are working as designed
  • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
  • Lead helpdesk support efforts, making sure all applications and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptionsPartner closely with internal business organizations to turn needs into high quality, scalable, secure software enabling Kraken’s dynamic growth
  • Identify and implement the best SaaS solutions available and integrate them into current business processes to give end users the most out of each application.
  • Architect the application configuration based on end user requirements, application functionality, and internal bank policies.
  • Work with end users to refine and document processes, document training plans, analyze data migration needs, and manage the overall program from design through implementation and support
  • Quickly learn new technologies, think outside the box to find creative solutions, and communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop standard reports, metrics and dashboards for business partners, managers, and executives

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years of database, network administration, system administration, or product management experience
  • System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
  • Knowledge of implementing and effectively developing IT operations best practices, including security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
  • Track record of having implemented, enhanced, and supported enterprise-class technology systems.Experience working with Engineering, Security,, Finance and Operations teams, preferably in a banking environment
  • At least three years of experience in a high tech environment
  • At least three years of data reconciliation and reporting
  • Experience or willingness to work as a part of a cross-functional team with remote employees in different time zones
  • Understanding of accounting, business, and general operation processes
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment would be beneficial
