Title: Senior Brand Advisor

Location: Hybrid NYC

Primary Objective

  • Key strategic leader and brand advisor to our most senior client stakeholders. Responsible for leading strategic analyses at both global and market-specific level. As brand expert, this person would be accountable for leading Brand project team and guiding brand recommendations for one of the largest CPG companies in the world.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Leads design and delivery of strategic brand measurement systems and platforms capable of assessing impact of marketing initiatives and guiding strategic direction of brand

  • Coordinates with support team to identify, collect and present insights with high-quality story-telling and clear actionability

  • Develops and evangelizes Brand thought leadership across client organization industry and within organization, using client, industry and Kantar data and insights

  • Excels at thoughtful and creative implementation of custom research and analytics to solve client brand strategy problems

  • Partners with Kantar’s sales and strategic client teams to identify, design and sell brand solutions

  • Leads strategic pitches and renewals; accountable for solution architecture, design and costing for proposals

  • Cultivates employee satisfaction by championing Kantar Brand Community and developing a high-performance team

  • Supports project profitability and Brand solution revenue growth by delivering effective solutions to clients in a timely manner and within budget

  • Leads development of strategic, actionable recommendations for client’s business based on subject matter expertise, the findings from research/analysis and Kantar best practices

  • Leads and develops learning/upskilling programs to enhance team members’ technical knowledge and solution expertise; ensures team members are completing training and development steps

  • Partners with Global account leadership to share client needs and feedback to help drive solutions delivery

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • 8+ years of custom market research design experience

  • Expertise in interpreting and applying Brand Equity data to drive growth. Ideally familiar with Kantar’s Meaningfully Different equity framework

  • Experience using research & analytics to inform brand management and marketing strategies

  • Creative, out-of-the-box problem solver that can take a highly customized approach to research and analytic design

  • Can-do attitude with experience successfully managing complexity, is driven, takes initiative, demonstrates ownership and can manage challenging situations.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to use logical reasoning and problem-solving

  • Excellent presentation skills with demonstrated success in leading presentations to senior level clients

  • Bachelor’s degree in market research/marketing or related social science and analytic subject areas. Masters or Ph.D. preferred

  • Proficient in quantitative research methodologies

  • Proficient in reporting and developing custom POVs

  • Proficient in application of factor analysis, key driver modeling, time-series modeling and insights

  • Provides technical leadership for maximum client impact

  • Ability to plan/architect complex solutions and bring together the right capabilities, and lead cross functional teams

  • Comfort with client engagement and ability to understand and solve client problems

  • Fosters continuous improvement across account team and broader organization with key focus on elevating impact and efficiency in delivery

  • Motivates/leads individuals & teams, stewards team culture

Communication

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Confidently delivers messages and exemplifies Kantar values

  • Comfortable speaking to senior client stakeholders

The salary range for this role in New York is 109,100.00 – 181,800.00 USD Annual. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
