JT&L is looking for a customer-oriented service representative – logistics dispatcher. This person will act as a liaison, provide service information, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. Problem-solving, scheduling, sorting and driver dispatching are the focus and responsibilities of this position. The goal is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Managing incoming calls from customers and drivers.
Daily Route and Driver Scheduling.
Counting and sorting of small parcels.
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers and drivers.
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using logistics software.
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
Proven customer support experience.
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
Familiarity with courier and logistics field.
Strong knowledge of Tri-State area.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
High school degree.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $58,500.00 per year
