The Trade Operations Analyst will work with the Trade Operations group involved in the following areas: Export Regulations, Import Regulations, Customs Regulations, Trade, Logistics, for both international and domestic shipping. The Trade Operations group handles carriers, freight forwarders and brokers worldwide, coordinates critical shipments as well as shipments that may be delayed during the customs clearance process anywhere in the world. Corporate Trade Operations ensures follows U.S. export regulations for shipments originating domestically and internationally.
The Trade Operations Analyst will receive direction from and work closely with the Manager Worldwide Trade Operations and team headquartered in San Jose, California.
The Trade Operations Analyst will be encouraged to tackle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently to resolve them. Additionally, they must develop knowledge of the different functional groups within and be able to support their business needs. A major part of supporting business needs involves ensuring established processes and procedures account for the implications of noncompliance, as it relates to the interpretation and application of import and export laws and regulations governing the movement of companies software product, business, and personal shipments. The Trade Operations Analyst will follow all standard operating procedures and suggest process improvement opportunities as they present themselves.
