Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

Determines and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments/development tests.

Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations. This includes

· Generate and coordinate material purchase orders from suppliers & vendors.

· Perform receiving and inspection of hardware.

· Collect, categorize, & store quality certifications/documentation.

· Assist with rework/repair instructions

· Securely package hardware for shipment to special process vendors/suppliers.

· Assemble manufacturing work book instruction (travelers/data packages).

· Review manufacturing work book instruction data packages for completeness.

· Assemble precision components in a clean work environment and complete work instructions

· Perform ambient testing on various valve assemblies.

· Provide completed workbooks to quality and assist with electronic upload as necessary

· Assist production in identifying the root cause of defect trends.

Qualifications:

  • Two plus years of related experience in manufacturing with precision detail assembly experience.
  • Shipping & receiving inspection experience, a plus.
  • ERP (SAP, MISys) working knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Understanding common root cause analysis tools, a plus
  • Able to Lift and carry over 50 pounds unassisted, and up to 100 pounds with assistance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour
