Billing and Collections Professional
- Location: REMOTE
- Shift: 800AM-500PM Monday-Friday Eastern Time
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay: $17.79-18.30/per hour
- Our Musts: 3-5 years’ experience with Medicaid/MCO billing and collections. Seeking a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, and high degree of accuracy.
We have an immediate opening for the following position: Billing and Collections Professional for a client on the East Coast – this position is remote.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for billing and collections for designated holdings
- Review billing summary looking for items that have been placed in the non-billable column prior to billing and send to contact at each holding with an expected turn around date
- Once returned make any notations that are necessary for non-billable items and bill any units that are determined to be billable.
- Ensure accuracy of billing and follow up on denied claims and complete any write-offs in a timely manner
- Run weekly pre and post billings reports
- Run aging reports
- Back up support for utilization reporting as needed
- Contributing to meeting established goals
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications (Requirements):
- High school diploma
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
